Garry Barker : Briefing Prep

Questions

Out of the three main section of the publication, is there any preference of one over the others?

Is there a photographer lined up for necessary shoots, or would you like us to source one?

How large is the print run?

Is there a budget figure to consider at this time?

In point 5. you mention it perhaps being flexible for other uses. Have you had any idea of what those other uses might be?

Is the starting of the publishing arm a long term or short term intention?
As this will effect its position in the catalogue.

Consideration and issues

Initial issues are to do with the format of the publication. Dictated by the budget, mainly the restrictions or freedom will be connected to the format. Therefore it may be useful t get in touch with Phillipa Wood from the Caseroom to talk about possible cheaper binding methods to achieve something exciting.

Budget and format are the main issues currently.

Other issues may be brought up by the briefing, but we hope to have them answered and sorted by the end of it.
