This is a publication with something to do with Antonio Vivaldi. However that is by the by.
It has a nicely refined aesthetic, using white space and the odd tip-in of tracing paper to create a slightly cold appeal. While the art direction and general feel of prowess and intellectualism keeps it tied in with the overall concept, it has a contrasting vibrancy with the brilliant red beginning and ending spreads and the detail on the trace pages.
Ramon Lenherr is the designer I was referring to in the Jim Jarmusch post. He also repeats the typefaces he uses across a number of projects. Although it is a risky to do this I believe that everyone finds their niche, however big or small. Some are audience driven, some are type driven, so why cannot someone be typeface driven? If it works, then whats the problem?
